Brazilian-born and Calgary-based, shaped by different cultures, places, and stories. I’ve spent years exploring Banff, Canmore, and Kananaskis and know these mountains better than Google Maps at this point.

More than just your photographer, I’m also your location scout, logistics person, travel guide, and low-key accomplice when needed

Surprise Proposal Photography in Banff National Park

Planning a proposal in Banff sounds dreamy until you realize there’s permits, crowds, timing, weather, parking, and approximately 400 tourists standing exactly where you wanted to propose.

That’s where I come in.

From hidden spots near Canmore to iconic places like Bow Lake and Lake Minnewanka, I help plan the logistics so the moment still feels intimate, relaxed, and true to you.

You focus on asking the question. I’ll take care of the rest.

How It Works

Your Questions, Answered

Still Have Questions?

How do surprise proposals work logistically?

I’ll send you a positioning guide and detailed plan beforehand so you know exactly where to stand and when. I’ll already be in place before you arrive, blending into the crowd like a professional stalker.

Do we need a permit to shoot in Banff National Park?

I carry the required permits to work in Banff National Park. Some locations or larger setups may need additional permissions and I’ll guide you through all of it.

How far in advance should we book?

For summer and fall, ideally 2–3 months ahead. For proposals, earlier is always better so we have time to properly plan the details.

We’ve never done photos before. Will this feel awkward?

Honestly? Probably for about five minutes. Then people usually stop thinking about the camera completely and that’s when the best moments happen.

When is the best time of year for photos in Banff?

Every season here feels completely different. Summer has turquoise lakes and wildflowers, fall brings golden larches, winter feels cinematic, and spring is quieter and underrated. I’ll help you choose what fits your vision best.
