I was never meant to follow a traditional path. Brazilian-born and Calgary-based, serving Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis, Waterton, Brazil, and wherever your story takes me. My life has always been shaped by movement between countries, languages, careers, and different ways of seeing the world. Bottrel & Co. The Story of Bottrel & Co.
Bottrel was created in honour of my grandmothers — two women who taught me that legacy lives in the small things: shared meals, quiet rituals, family stories passed down through generations. After losing them years apart, both in April, this brand became part of my healing. As an immigrant building a life far from where I started, I learned how fragile memories can be — and how powerful it is to preserve them with care. Bottrel & Co. exists to honour connection, family (in all its forms), and the moments that deserve to be remembered long after they pass.
For the ones who never fit the traditional mold
If you've ever felt like your story doesn't fully fit into the "traditional" version of love, family, or celebration, you're not alone. I built my life between cultures, countries, languages, and completely different worlds, and that shaped the way I see connection, relationships, and photography. Because of that, I care less about perfect timelines and expectations, and more about creating an experience that actually feels like you. Something intentional, meaningful, and grounded in the real moments you'll want to remember years from now.

Brazilian-born and Calgary-based, I photograph throughout Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis, the Canadian Rockies, Brazil, and beyond, places I've spent years exploring through every season. Having planned international weddings myself, I understand how emotional and overwhelming the process can feel. From permits and timelines to finding meaningful locations and creating a day that flows naturally, I help guide the experience so you can stay present in it. As a native Portuguese speaker living in Canada, I also work closely with international couples and multicultural families, helping navigate different languages, cultures, and traditions in a way that feels easy and natural.
